Time is a luxury and moving can be overwhelming. We are offering you the convenience of our hassle-free Move Manager service to help you have a seamless transition from your current home to your new home.
What are Move Managers?
Senior and Specialty Move Management assist older adults and families with downsizing and relocation. They have significant expertise in resources and approaches that save money, reduce stress, and produce quality results. The services are personalized to meet the client’s needs and preferences.
Our goal is to ease the stress of the move process for residents and their family members.
Unlike traditional moving companies, Move Managers provide a multi-faceted approach to the move process: from space planning in the beginning to post-move settling in and support.
Here are the services you can expect from a Move Manager;
- Organizing, sorting, and downsizing
- Customized floor plans
- Arranging for the profitable disposal of unwanted items through auction, estate sale, buy-out, consignment, donation, or a combination of the above
- Interviewing, scheduling, and overseeing movers
- Arranging shipments and storage
- Supervise and oversight of professional packing
- Unpacking and setting up the new home
The Move Managers we use belong to the National Association of Senior & Specialty Move Managers (NASMM) and are committed to professionalism. They are reviewed for insurance and are required to take courses which focus on core competencies in Senior Move Management including; Ethics Accountability, Safety, Contract and Liability.
The Dunfield will cover a portion or all costs for this service, the final amount will be confirmed upon lease signing. Please see terms and conditions below.

- New customers (each, a “Resident”) who move into The Dunfield Retirement Residence on or before June 30th, 2022, will receive a Move Manager Service determined by the value of the suite. (the “Offer”).
- This Offer is conditional upon:
- the Resident entering into the Dunfield’s standard form of Residency Agreement;
- This Offer has no cash value. It is a stand-alone offer and is not valid in conjunction with any other offer.
- This Offer does not apply to existing Dunfield residents.
- This Offer only applies to specific suites at The Dunfield and can change without notice.
- This Offer may only be redeemed once by (i) an individual or (ii) individuals sharing a suite upon move-in.
- These Terms and Conditions, including the Offer, shall be deemed to be incorporated into the Residency Agreement and, to the extent there is any conflict, these Terms and Conditions shall take precedence.
- By accepting this Offer, the Resident represents that he/she has read and fully understands these Terms and Conditions and agrees to be bound by them.
